CFAN Community Engagement Program

The purpose of the CFAN Community Engagement Program (CCEP) team is to support charitable activities which reinforce a positive relationship between CFAN, its employees and the surrounding communities. This team of CFAN volunteers allocates funds and coordinates activities to enhance the quality of life for those in need. Along with collecting donations, the team organizes volunteering events such as parks clean up with the City of San Marcos Parks & Recreation Department, or home building with Habitat for Humanity, and participates in STEM/STEAM events in local area schools.

One of our largest sponsorships is the American Heart Association’s San Marcos Heart Walk which many employees participate in as well. We also reach out to local elementary schools by donating backpacks and school supplies for children who would have to go without. Each year before the Christmas school break, the employees of CFAN donate new toys and/or coats through the Hays County Sheriff Brown Santa and the Austin Area Coats for Kids programs.

With continued support to the local shelters, food bank, meals on wheels program, along with many other worthy causes, we are dedicated to helping those in need and making an impact in our local community.
